Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach in March 1989, is among America's most renowned and richest Pole Vaulters. She began her career as a pole-jumper in 2007 after she saw a photograph of her from a track meet aged 17. Instagram and Twitter have helped her build a huge social media followers. Regarding Stokke they also noted that social media comments were frequently insulting in nature and blamed the process of sexualization on the women themselves. Others drew parallels with Brandi Chastain's celebration of winning the 1999 FIFA World Cup Women's Final with her sports bra. Women's sports events were often dominated by the discussion of their looks. Stokke was photographed in New York by a Californian reporter for an online track and event website at the beginning of 2007. In May, the photo was then posted in the form of With Leather a sports blog with a massive male following commenting on the beauty of the 17-year-old Stokke under the headline Pole Vaulting is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford threatened to file lawsuit against the photographer if that image was not deleted. But by then the image and the article had garnered lots of media attention. Stokke quickly gained a following when a website dedicated to him was made with photos of Stokke performing her skills at his pole vault. Images then circulated via social media to hundreds of fans on the internet. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wished to go to Florida to graduate from the high school. Alyce decided in 1974 that she wanted to switch careers by taking on an internship. Alyce was raised by a professor's sister.
